Ok thanks

I think I'll use the GSI_fr.sdf.bz2 posted by pavel
Leaving source as english, and writing my language in place of french

So if we can't translate all, the non translated fields will be in french

Am I right?

There is no plural forms in those po files? I mean no "msgid_plural" lines?

thanks

Pavel,

Thanks,

Etienne,

The POT files using French as a base are in:

http://www.khmeros.info/drupal/ooo/fr/fr.zip (about 2 megabytes).

You can start by transalting the sw and officecfg directories (word procesor and dialogs), unless somebody in the list has a closer idea of what would be needed to be transalted for the word processor.

To do the translations, make a copy of the files (copy the whole tree) and rename them as .PO, instead of .POT, then you can open them with a translation editor, such as poEdit (Windows or Linux) or Kbabel (Linux). and start translation. They are very easy to use.

You must keep the old sdf file that was used to produce the POT files, you will need it to convert back to OOo format. You should download it from the address given by Pavel below. I have also made a copy in

http://www.khmeros.info/drupal/ooo/fr/GSI_fr.sdf.bz2

in order to keep them together.
