Do you really think Rosetta is an ideal place? Why not use CVS/Subversion or
something similar for PO file handling and not have such problems?
I do not think it is an ideal place, but it's a good place to work. It works fine for the translations of a lot of things, except OpenOffice. The translators in our team have become used to it and like some of its features very much. I myself find 236 files very difficult to handle and was very happy therefore about the 12-file templates in Rosetta. We have nobody in our team who is really firm in using CVS and that stuff, so
If you decide to use Rosetta you must have a tool for Rosetta PO to
Normal PO conversion (I can send you the script I used to convert).
I'd be very happy if you did.
Maybe translate tool has such option but I cannot find it.
I don't think it has, the --multifile option works in a different way.
