Indeed I was overly abrasive, and for that I apologize. I did warn in my first message distro feelings on the subject were strong, and it was better to accept that opinion than ask for details. It seems I still haven't found the magic way to tell projects distributions really loathe direct download helpers like DictOO, and yes it's educated loathing so there is no use revisiting the helper features. (as it proved once again such a revisiting invariably turns into flamewars because the main reason projects feel they need download helpers is a long list of distribution grievances, while the distributions feel most of them are undeserved and anyway things would be so much easier if projects didn't waste energy on the first place on a distribution job they'll never do properly) I'll also point rudeness is in the eye of the beholder, and being part of the OO.o community you may not be as sensitive to some statements as third parties. -- Nicolas Mailhot --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
