There is a custom "config-image.bb" that seems to replicate some of Tizen's "platform/upstream/filesystem". In particular it sets smack attributes of /etc and this new /var/volatile/log, and then redirects /var/log via symlink to that. Kevin, can you explain why smack attributes are not set via a manifest file? Perhaps because ownership of these directories is elsewhere? Why the /var/log -> /var/volatile/log symlink? On a related note, patching mkefidisk.sh to mount $HDDIMG_MNT/rootfs.img with "-o loop, noacl" works around the issue. As far as I can tell, we should not be using ACLs, so we can ignore them. -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter. _______________________________________________ Dev mailing list [email protected] https://lists.tizen.org/listinfo/dev
