Which is perfectly fine, since you did not act as an OpenOffice.org "official", and the articles had great impact! Congratulations! Any official OpenOffice.org response however, should follow OpenOffice.org guidelines, e.g. have people review and official statement. Anybody can propose an official article or press release, but should be prepared to make modifications based on community feedback. Individual/personal statements outside of the OpenOffice.org project/community context however, don't have to follow these guidelines, i.e. if people don't act as OpenOffice.org officials and hopefully don't say nonsense, they are free to write, say and blog what they want. BTW, the news about MA's decision haven't spread in Germany yet, but I'm pretty sure they will get picked-up today.
