Hi Volker, The current login box (#minitabs) are not affected by this script because we are going to do away with this very soon. It will be replaced with something more suitable (we got a lot of complaints about usability, accessibility...).
You can expect this to go live either late this week or early next week, and you can see the (experimental) version of it at test.openoffice.org (please ignore any odd styling, it's a work in progress at the moment :) ).
