The schedule isn't working for our needs. We'd like to release the update to the VSNetBeans in the middle of January. the question is: do we care for the release schedule? If we release in mid january, releasing again mid february is insane. I have no hard feelings here, but in the end we either want time based releases or we don't. We can also say, that we aim to release 4 times a year and the second release each year gets more attention for testing then the others. What I notice is, that there is no reasoning given for the release in january. There is nothing stopping anyone releasing products that require updates to netbeans source code a month later.
