Me too!  And that we don't test them enough before release vote
either.  I agree with moving out of main repo.  In fact, I'm in favour
of replacing them with something else outside the main repo! ;-)

I think we should keep vsix vote separate.  The criteria for voting on
it is different - should be built and tested by those voting.

Isn't that close to what we do already?  It's why we have the separate
votes.  I originally suggested different rules for convenience
binaries like that (1 pmc), and you argued for a full vote.  Now I'm
going to say you were right back then.  Let's not make special rules
for this.
