Yeah, I'll be honest with how smooth the last few masOS installer releases
went before this one, I had probably gotten very lax in the process - I had
most of it scripted locally and it required zero thought.  I usually
download the sources, generate the installer, test it locally, and then
notarize the `.dmg` and sign it and upload it to SVN before creating the
vote thread.

This time was no different, however we like Neil said the goalposts
changed, yet everything we could see indicated that nothing was different
to any of the previous installers...

Moving forward, I think I(or if anyone else wants to try creating the macOS
installer) should create an installer from an early RC build, upload and
then download it, to test this scenario, so that when it comes closer to
the actual release we've identified issues as early as possible.  I also
need to update the confluence page as members wanting to take part in this
will now also need an Apple ID Developer Application Certificate.
