I am willing to make the adjustments suggested by Laczen, but I am currently unsure if doing so will lead to it being merged. Unfortunately, it is a frustrating situation. My solution depends on power consumption, and I am improving what I can, but I ran into this issue which seems to be tied to the Espressif HAL.
