Jacques Le Roux commented on OFBIZ-5267:
----------------------------------------

# Yes please create the other issue yourself
# One simpler possibility, I did not put in my "solutions", would be to not
load the birt data (OrderPortletData.xml) by default. For instance just
commenting them out in the birt ofbiz-component.xml. Or even creating a
specific loader for birt data not called by demo. And creating a specific ant
target to load them. Maybe, as you suggested, disabling all birt in trunk is a
solution, just commenting it out from specialpurpose component-load.xml. This
would need to be discussed... again...

Only trouble with both solutions: either reports or the whole birt component
would not be tested by ant run-tests which relies on load-demo...

I still think my second option above is the better one. This way, if we create
other components with the same kind of issues, using the "<include... "
if-possible attribute would allow to hide controller errors in releases and
still have the whole component in trunk (demoed, tested, etc.)
