partnership will be very hard, we are all a bunch of volunteers and not a
commercial organization. We like to keep our software totally free of ties,
a partnership would be a limitation.

We have multiple companies, who put resources (mainly man-hours) into
enhancing AOO. But very important we dont see the man-hours, we only see
and deal with the people (who just happens to get a pay-check from a
company).

Apache Software Foundation is a non-profit organization and can pr.
definition not be involved in commercial activities.

It is however completely legal (and wished) that you use the software and
build commercial add-on products around it, as long as you comply with the
ALv2 license regarding distribution and the guidelines regarding use of
logos and other trademarks.
