Depending on the platform, tools as the compiler may differ, and in this
case even the Ubuntu version differs (7.10 vs. 8.04).
Remember, the BuildBots were created as a tool for developers. See Nils'
mail "How to reduce the barieres to contribute to OOo? Some suggestions
and proposals from inside Sun ...." from Nov. 2006, where he accounced
BuildBots for OOo:
"For CWSs, we typically like to see at least two installation sets on
different platforms before integration. As this is a major issue for
some contributors, we will support this by offering Build Bots for this
purpose. We already have added a Solaris Build Bot (thanks to Thorsten
Behrens) and will start to provide corresponding builds ASAP."
Having the same environment on all BuildBots or the same environment as
RE in Hamburg has was at that time not the goal.
The maintainers are the same persons.
