Hi, sorry for the delay - I have now obtained the clearance internally for giving the talk. The talk will be focused on the collaboration with the Apache community during the migration to Apache Pekko and our team’s discovery of the "Apache Way".
Learning topics covered in the talk: - The differences between contributing to open-source software and contributing to open-source software under the Apache Foundation. - How to approach the Apache Foundation while working in the enterprise world. - The importance of supporting the community, not only by coding, but by producing docs, triaging, and doing manual testing. - What measures have we put in place at our team at Microsoft to try to do even better next time? - How "Apache Way" can help you to grow as an engineer. Unfortunately, I think the talk will be about 20 minutes, which is only half the length of the slot. So, I'm open to partner-up with other folks in the community. I'm adding Sean Glover and Matthew Benedict de Detrich to this thread as I remember they were planning to submit a talk. Few questions: - Are you still planning to give a talk on Apache Pekko?
