During August I (and Chris and Noel, for what I know) plan to resolve some issues, so if there aren't objection I'd prefer to wait the end of August.
What others say ? Maybe we could also send a mail to our users and ask if there is some critical feature to fix in 2.0.1 ... and in any case se the previous date as deadline.
