Hello Peter,

I can only answer some of your questions, but I hope that this helps you
at least some:

SRC680 means a source within the current 680 branch (1.9 series). I
_think_ that dr means developer release, but am not sure.

See [1].

(680)m74 is the same as 1.9.74, so m74s1 (which was not released
publically) is just a little different from your 1.9.74.

Not just by looking at the name. CWS are so-called Child Workspaces. The
best I can say is to go to [2] and click the link Release Notes
(currently pointing to [3]). That document contains a list "Integrated
Child Workspaces" which shows the CWSs integrated in that milestone.

When changing the status of an issue, one has to add a comment. If one
wants to quickly change the status without any hassle, common practice
is/has become to use a . as the message.

I'd like to find a document about the various versions as well, but I
think that even the developers themselves might not always know which
version would become which.

Cheers,

Sander
