Odd, I see alternating colors at http://user-faq.openoffice.org/new-faq/ right now -- its like an old textbook in which someone went wild with a highlighter -- I personally tend to avoid web sites and pages with that kind of crazy coloring, just as I try to avoid old textbooks filled with highlighter markup -- but I guess some people prefer it.

I was playing with the code a little. If the colors don't look good let me know and I can change them VERY easily.
I am having some issues with the site about the <<<< index.html entries though. I am working to correct that at the moment.
