Frank, Thanks for the response, but I find that idea more creative and less clear. I don't know if there is a good answer here. I suppose another solution would be to say if you're in 1.3, all 1.3 libraries are compatible; any feature that requires more than one dependency to upgrade in tandem, must wait until 1.4
