Doable, and probably the easiest to get going - but also the
hardest to maintain. It doesn't seem to me like there are enough
interested parties to carry the load.
Ok, so here's the really hard question - do we have a community? The
number of people contributing to Tiles has grown from one to three
(and I haven't really contributed anything but ideas in a while). I
don't mean in any way to diminish the contributions of those who
built Tiles in the first place or initially moved it to the sandbox.
But where does it go in the future? I don't want to spend a whole
lot of time lobbying for and building a TLP for three people. I
suppose we could get it going to test the waters - if you build it
they will come. But I'm not sure if they will come yet. There's a
lot of people who *use* Tiles, but how many of them are legacy users
who don't want to grow with it? How many of them will be contributors?
I'd love to hear thoughts from people who have gone down this road
with other projects as well as from David and Antonio.
