Slightly off-topic, but I got reminded when looking at davautocheck. r1891908 fixes a minor build dependency problem. If memory serves me right, make davautocheck directly after configure fail since mod_dontdothat isn't a dependency. It is nominated for backport in both 1.14.x and 1.10.x.
