Ask Thorsten Ziehm and tm As the issue states cmc was involved in this decision, but as I wrote before, the reason for this decision (crashes) were due to a mismatch in gnome-vfs and the fpicker code with threads. This problem is since long solved in both gnome-vfs and in the fpicker code. So the decision should be rethought. http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=43669 The same probably is true for the expand-all request (request from a time when the fpicker still was envolving and did hide the filetype selection in the folder-browser). see http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=46059 which was fixed along with http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=46800 Or maybe this one was just a misunderstanding. > So, I am going to _reopen_ issue 51002, and ask Caolan to change the > implementation, to match the standard Gnome behavior > (http://www.gnome.org/~seth/designs/filechooser-spec/) and his spec. > > Anybody with different knowledge / opinion, please comment now! I surely won't object :-) ciao Christian -- NP: Linkin Park - Breaking The Habit --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
