In addition please see my previous comments. In summary :
- remove the user/login box on the top right - it confuses many users
- The "Native Language Projects" could bre removed and "Project" could
possible be replaced with "Select OpenOffice.org project in your language".
(Would this convey enough for the NLC ?)
- move "Advanced Search" and "Google Search" from the front page and place
them prominently on the search page
- there are now 3 links to download OOo. I'd sugges removing the one on the
left panel
- "How to donate funds" should be replaced with "how to contribute" which
poiints at the current contribute page
- "My pages" make no sence unless the user is logged in - so remove it
- In the tab bar between "Home" and "Download" add an "About" link which
brings users to a page with the misson statement, product info, marketing
info, press info, contact info etc.
- Should the bug submission link really appear on the tab ? (And incorporate
the previous suggestions about making it easier for users to report bugs)
- And pleas highlight the fact that it is free! It is still the number 1 FAQ
by far!
