Call it "What's new at OOo"

Documentation is a resource. It should be a single link under "Resources".
Alternatively, we could have more than one documentation-based link under
resources (e.g. FAQs, Manuals, HowTos). But I really prefer the single
link. It's cleaner.

No, they don't have to be there, and shouldn't be there. We have limited
space (or *should* view it that way). Screenshots should be behind "About
OOo".

Out of 8 links in that page, only one is about development. And it
shouldn't be called "contributing work" (since that misses out finnancial
donations for example). It should be called "Contribute".

No they aren't. At most they are marketing, in-reach, etc. They are not a
*resource* by any means.
Definition of resource:
1. Something that can be used for support or help: The local library is
a valuable resource.
2. An available supply that can be drawn on when needed. Often used in
the plural.
3. The ability to deal with a difficult or troublesome situation
effectively; initiative: a person of resource.
4. Means that can be used to cope with a difficult situation. Often
used in the plural: needed all my intellectual resources for the
exam.
Mailing lists, forums and documentation are our main resources.

Hiding complexity behind menus is not really equivalent to removing
complexity. This isn't just a personal perference of mine. It's a
principle of usability.
