Per-- This is NOT a good idea. These docs are the purview of the documentation project and it is up to them how to manage these so please don't do this! The only reference I can currently find to the setup guides is from the installation instructions. And yes, the setup guides do not correspond to our current release but they are probably still valid. I have copied Clayton on this response for him to take whatever action he sees fit. Let's see if he a) will remove these old guides, b) wants to move them somewhere else and will contact the dev-website project with a change for the current links. Most unfortunately, the maintainer for these docs passed away a year or so ago, so I suppose the documentation project has not established a way to update them since OOo2.x.
