Well it would help enormously if the rest of knew WHAT kinds of questions....it seems, yes, the FAQ could be updated (and who would best know about what types of issues arise?), and/or the contact page itseef seems in need of updating. I, myself, have often been confused about what info I can get from the website vs the wiki, for example. > > But there is really no reason why there should be a human involved at > this point at all. No, I'm not trying to be a pain, just what are you thinking here... > > So my query: I would like to see if we can fully automate the > responses to most of the queries. I can supply the boilerplate. I will try to spend some time this coming weekend looking around at "things". Maybe the Support folks have some ideas as well. Really, the contact page you referenced seems to do everything possible to steer people to the Support area, so it would be interesting to see your "boilerplate". and ps. yes, I am pretty busy with "life" too at the moment but toward the end of the year, I will have some free time I could dedicate to helping with this. I fully understand the situation. THere is nothign more irritating than having to respond to the same thing over and over and over again...DOCUMENT! Make information easily available and current! take care... > > > For those queries that are not covered by the automations, then I'm > happy to respond like a living human, which I've been assured I am. > > But I don't have the time and I cannot think of anyone else who does > (Sophie, she tells me, has a life) to answer the same question, > again, again, again. > > thanks Louis > > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For > additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] > -- ============================================================ Kay Schenk "Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd." -- Voltaire --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
