Sounds like a good idea. Some thoughts: - How does this work with stateless pages? I haven't followed the discussion on stateless very closely, but I have the impressions that the statelessness is because we do not having a session. - I have looked briefly over the commit for this and I think we can make the auto index in the session rolling in the unlikely case that someone has a looong session with maany pages containing maany compontents all having markup id on it. (not important)
