Whats your accountname? Im not sure I can grant you karma on tc, but I can sure try:)

Okay - it just built successfully (although still the intermittent VCS
issue). Can we get a deploy goal added to it so that it will deploy
snapshots?

Also, if I had permissions, I could clean up all the projects that are
listed in TC that no longer exist (because they were moved to attic or
rolled under wicketstuff-core). [note: there's 55 folders from trunk that I
have either moved to attic or rolled under core, so there's a lot of cleanup
to do - obviously not all of these are setup on TC, but some are]

Thanks Johan!

Well I've made some changes that should get it building and kicked off
another build - and we're back to having problems with the connection to
SourceForge [1].

I think this brings us full circle back to the beginning of the thread.
Several options:

1 - install Continuum on wicketstuff.org and see if it has same problem
(perhaps uses a different svn client - may not have problem)
2 - fix problems between wicketstuff.org and sourceforge (not 100% sure
this is the problem, and not likely to happen anytime soon?)
3 - allow my build server to deploy via scp to the wicketstuff.org repo
folder

Thoughts?

I have no idea - except that I think it may be tied to the assembly
plugin. I commented out the use of the assembly-plugin in the yui and
inmethod project temporarily to see if that will get it building.

Can you kick it off again or give me rights to do it?

Thanks!

teamcity seems to work fine

i just added wicket-core to it (but cant have a goal deploy on that one

And everything seems to be build

I think currently the big problem is that the svn paths are not correct
anymore

If you just want to double-check, Continuum setup would take less than
ten
minutes. I'll be available for any assistance you need. If you
installed
it and added one POM [1] it would automagically get all THIRTY TWO
Wicket
Stuff projects that I have moved over to wicketstuff-core building for
you.

I had never used Continuum before, and am not typically impressed
easily,
but I have been VERY impressed with it. Regardless of what the issue
is
(TC
/ SF connection), I think it's worth looking into using it rather than
TC
since all of our projects (core and WS) are based on Maven - and
Continuum
is set up to build maven projects super easily.

Just my $0.02... but I definitely think it's worth the time - and I
don't
mind doing it if you need the help, or if you install it I can set it
up -
whichever works best for you.

Who owns the wicketstuff.org server? Since TeamCity has been

having problems building against SF repo, I set up Continuum on my
server.
It has been working fine. I'd like to see us get some permanent
setup
that
allows built artifacts to be deployed to the wicketstuff.orgmaven
repo
since that's the repo everyone has in their POM for wicketstuff
projects.
This will be especially important now that so many wicketstuff
projects
will
be able to be built together and released together.

I see two options:
1 - We switch from TeamCity to Continuum on the wicketstuff.orgsite.
 This
would require someone with shell access installing Continuum or
giving
me
access to do so. It's a VERY simple setup. Also, if we switch to
Continuum
and then have problems we'll know instantly that there is a
network
issue
between the wicketstuff.org server and SF (since my server has
not
had
the
problem and been running Continuum against SF for weeks).

2 - Someone gives me information so that my server can SCP to the
repo
on
wicketstuff.org. My server could continue to run the builds and
then
SCP
the artifacts to wicketstuff.org's repo. This would be fine with
me
as
well.

Whatever works best - I'd just like us to have some Continuous
Integration
actually running and deploying snapshots and release artifacts.
 The
next
step will be to get the central maven repo to mirror the
wicketstuff.orgreleased artifacts to central. I don't mind
working

point.
