Sure!  We welcome anyone who's interested.  A lot of people have used Adium as 
a way to get involved in a larger project.  You don't need to worry about any 
time commitments or anything like that. It's purely volunteer.  Any time you 
want to spend working on things is appreciated.

Do you have any specific areas that you think you might be interested in 
learning more about? Or any specific ideas you might have been considering?  I 
ask because for most people, the best way to get motivated to work on something 
like this is to dive into an aspect that really interests them.

You've already made the first step by finding the dev list.  If you haven't 
already, I'd encourage you to check out http://trac.adium.im/wiki/Development 
where you find links to things like instructions on how to set up Mercurial and 
getting a copy of the source to play with.  Give that stuff a look and feel 
free to ask us any questions you might have.

We'd be glad to have you!
