Falling back the global unified_prefix in case no one is defined for the smsc is conceptually fine for me. The only problem I see as stated in my previous mail (Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>) is that accessing the global unified_prefix needs some instrumentation because it's presently not accessible from the code in gw/smsc/*.c The simplest instrumentation might be to add a field for the global unified_prefix in the SMSCConn struct. Can we agree on such a scenario ?
