I've heard that Fedora's flatpaks have too few maintainers, and I'd like
to try to recruit more. First, I think I need to clarify my
understanding of policy.
It looks like a contributor would need to be a member of the packagers
group to work on Flatpaks, which mostly makes sense. But to become a
member of packagers, a contributor would need to submit a package,
become a co-maintainer, or adopt an orphaned/retired package[1].
So, is a Flatpak considered a "package" for the purpose of this policy?
If not, does it make sense that Flatpak maintenance is tied to RPM
packaging group membership? Should it have a different sponsorship path
and FAS group?
