OK, so for the point of view of linking to court cases referenced in a
news article, once a decision has been made, the bailii.org page is the
one. Before then... there's nothing tangible to link to.
Seems like there'd be room for a nice little web app that:
1) creates a permanent page for each case as soon as it's unique number
and title appears anywhere on a .gov.uk site
Two items of information which don't exist until after the case has been
heard!
Out of interest, does Courtel receive any information beyond the (now)
public daily court schedules? I couldn't really tell...
Yes, they also get the "Warned list", which is effectively the list of
cases on standby that may be called into court if there's a spare slot.
Warned lists are published weekly, but may be amended daily. They are
not available to the general public.
