Hello I'm trying to get the vara to sponsor the optimiziation project, or bettere, to get them to work together with othere broadcasters to sponsor this project. This is not easy, becouse the tendency exists to consider open source free 'as in free beer'. The performace / stability problems are real though, and they must lever participation if anything. The least thing I need is a project plan that in detail addresses these issues. I posted an earlyer message about this, and I think it must be addressed. Is it a good idear to have a meating about it? Is there another approach? Let me know what you are thinking.
