I think we need a meeting, and even though this is mentioned in the Optimization project as 'step 13' that doens't mean we can't start early (as steps indicate when I figure a step will be _finished_ rather than started).
I will be gone 13/10 - 19/10, but if someone is willing to make a report on it I don't necessaeraily need to be present on a meeting.
I suggest IRC as a way to quickly discuss a suitable date.
I am also planning to ask for support for the project as a whole on te community list. If you have a date for a meeting in mind, I will also mention it, as I figure most sponsors will be especially keen on this step.
