Gordon, I am surprised at the tone of your messages. If you are implying that the $500 registration fee for becoming a Partner is what it takes to have good communications I am surprised.
No one has put any pressure on you to perform, merely to communicate. And along the communications line I have an email from your sales representative Lynn Rockburn that is over a month old indicating she would call me in a few days to follow up on my interest in becoming a Mitel Partner. I proactively contacted Mitel and Mitel has let the issue flounder. IMHO, devinfo is not the place for flames and counseling. I made a polite inquiry as to progress and do not deserve a lecture on Mitel's corporate monetary issues in return. Part of becoming a Partner with a company is the belief that you will be treated as one. Thank you for taking the time away from development to tell me about your Partner programs. Please feel no further obligation to do so as I have already been ignored while trying to evaluate joining the Partner program. If you have a commercial requirement for a gold release, I would like to suggest you contact one of our authorized partners to register your server. Our partners will, quite naturally, have first access to our releases and you will also have access to the benefits of ServiceLink. If you are installing SME Servers for your clients, you might like to consider becoming a partner yourself to our mutual benefit. Registered servers fund further development.
