Oh thanks Charlie, but the actual E-$mith disclaimer says Contributed items are NOT supported. This is a disclaimer policy we NEVER associate with our name or our products. I'd rather go broke then be associated with an "it's your problem if it breaks things" policy. We only release stuff that works, and can stand behind.
ALSO, Placing our work on the E-Smith site implies an acceptance and support of Mitel POLICIES. I think we can agree that this is not the case. We too merged with another company. That was in August. I know first hand, the issues and the pressures a merger can put on a company. Much to the chagrin of our new associates, we have never let our founding principle be altered despite the internal and financial pressure to do so. My side of the company, and its entire staff have never lost sight of why we started in the first place. This is not the case with e-smith. Go back through the devinfo and partnerinfo archives, and see just how your interaction with the community and the general public has changed. You will find it both interesting, and a bit disturbing. -----Original Message----- From: Charlie Brady [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: January 24, 2002 1:39 PM To: Scott Duncan Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [e-smith-devinfo] RE: Development planning (was Re: [e-smith-devinfo] 5.1 RC or Gold?)
