Agreed, we should be more consistent. But friends/strangers makes for awkward 
wording here, doesn't it? And on the homepage opennet-is-enabled warning too?

Ideally, all Freenet users would connect only to people they know. This is far 
more secure, making it very difficult for an attacker to find your node. 
However, if you don't know at least 5 people already running Freenet nodes, 
you can instruct the node to connect to nodes run by people you don't know 
(Strangers). Note that you can always turn this off later.
