I've been following the discussion for a while, but it's my first post. I'm
still unclear on some of the key types, so
perhaps some of the pros can educate me if this falls outside of Freenet's
design...
Here's an alternative scheme: Songs would be inserted under:
{provider's public key}/{artist}/{title}
Anyone is allowed to put either a white or black "reputation token" on a
provider under:
{provider's public key}/{rater's public key}
Then it's up to the client to analyze the tokens for any provider. It could
just do something simple like counting up
the white vs. black, or use a sophisticated algorithm that maintains+analyzes a
trust graph.
