But how do you stop someone from "squatting" keys by inserting dummy files at
{your public key}/{artist}/{title}? This wouldn't damage your reputation (the
files wouldn't be signed by you), but it would stop you inserting files at
those locations. Providers would have to keep switching keys and republishing
all their material, and as soon as the new keys became public knowledge the 
blockers would start filling up the new keyspace with dummy files.
