I've reinstated the new node config code. No idea how the old stuff ended up in cvs.
If the storeCacheSize gets set to 0 again, just change the source accordingly. You should find that unrecognised fields are being copied over ok now. Although I managed to retrieve keys, the only node that seemed to be responding was 210-54-227-186.adsl.xtra.co.nz:40000 which I assume is heretic108.cjb.net from the default seed.ref. This node transferred keys slowly at a rate of between 50-200 cps and I never seemed to collect other valid seed nodes from it. > There is nothing the installer can > > A seperate installation of Freenet 0.4 that had been properly seeded worked as expected using many node references so I know 0.4 is not broken, it just appears that way to new users. > > Please, please sort out the seed node issue, it's KILLING 0.4. > > > That is nothing the installer can do about, I download the current > seed.ref from http://freenetproject.org/seed.ref which is generated > daily from the .ref entries in CVS. > > Sebastian > > > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > Devl mailing list > Devl at freenetproject.org > http://lists.freenetproject.org/mailman/listinfo/devl > _______________________________________________ Devl mailing list Devl at freenetproject.org http://lists.freenetproject.org/mailman/listinfo/devl
