To the best of my knowledge of UK libel laws it *is* libel, as for it not to be
so the author or the title would have to prove that all or at least majority of
Freenet users actually do so. In the UK if you are accused of libel it is you
who has to prove that it was the truth, and not the accuser who has to prove
that it is false (the only thing that the accuser has to prove is that the
statement would hurt you in today's society, which is easy to do with the
accusation of sharing of viruses, criminal contacts and child pornography).
Of course then we get into the area of ethics... Libel laws in UK are in effect
censhorship laws, so would it be ok to use it to stop the defamation of an
anti-censorship network.
