It would be of no use to the US hams as we are limited to 5KHz on 2 meters.

I would be interested to read your specifications and also interested to know what sort of compression system you propose (Runlength, LZW, DFT...?).

Note for information: in Multipsk, I've proposed a DIGISSTV mode for Packet (specification on my WEB site).

Subject: [digitalradio] Digital Video on 12.5khz channel

Hi All,

I have been working on a protocol that will allow around 125kbits/sec
data to be transferred in a 12.5khz channel.

However, it requires a S:N in the channel of around 35dB.

The potential use that I've thought of is for ATV, with a local 2/70cm
repeater that outputs reasonable power and users all use Yagi antennas
to recieve the transmission, much like with 23cm ATV, except it's on 2m.

If it interests anyone, then I can publish a specification for people
to look through?
