On what basis do you assume this to be correct?

As the number of domains registered "increase" so does the availability of
funds to have a 24x7 noc with front line technical support.

How many web hosting companies here, with 3,000 domains manage to have a
24x7 noc, and their monthly sales is somewhere around $90000 (assuming
$30/hosting account)

With the recent report in this mailing list, in one day OpenSRS registered
2000 .COM domains courtesy of their ISPs. With a $4 margin on each domain,
that gives them a daily margin of $8000 or $240,000

With that type of monthly margin, asking for 24x7 front-line support isn't
unreasonable.

Yes. However, if they register 200 domains, 2000 domains, or 20,000 domains
-- the infrastructure should change, eventhough their margin "per domain"
remains the same.

I'm assuming you're just guessing -- without any business reasoning behind
your statement.
