Hello fellas and ladies!

I have been out of the seen for a while and off the list as well. I just
re-subscribed. I setup my Opensrs stuff a LONG time ago and pretty much just
left it run. It's time for me to update it all and wanted to ask a few
questions. These are directed at list members or Opensrs whomever wants to
answer. Thanks in advance!

1- Is $10 the best price we are ever going to get with OpenSRS? I find it a
bit frustrating that my wholesale price is $10 and GOdaddy sells retail for
$8 or is it $8.95. Seems I should be able to get a cheaper price wholsale
then retail?? Isn't that how it's suppose to work? I love OPensrs but I do
have a bit of an issue with the price being higher than what I can buy for
retail.

2- Is there yet or will there ever be any other clients than Perl? I
personally hate to do anything in Perl since I feel I am wasting my time,
everyone nowadays wants things written in PHP and ASP etc. At this point I
know just enough Perl to get my Opensrs up and running and that's it. I
don't see the value in learning more Perl at this stage of the game since I
feel it's not moving as fast as PHP etc. I want to learn and use things that
are most likely going to be useful down the road and or have a better chance
of making me money etc.. SO.. The question is.. Is there a PHP or ASP client
available yet? If not when or ever?

3- It's getting real old to have to renew a domain for a year after someone
comes to us and does a transfer. When a transfer is done it can only be set
for one year. Well I sell to someone for say 3 years when they come to
trasnfer to us, then I have to remember or set reminders to go in and
manually renew the domain for the remaining years once the transfer goes
through. Will there ever be a way to send a reg through for more than one
year. I know the registry only takes it for a year during the transfer but
Opensrs could just add the additonal years once it goes through.

 Thanks.
