Personally, it's worth it for us! ;o) Keep in mind that we're not just paying domain years here. We are paying for domain years + programmers + support. You could always go directly to the registry and pay $6 per domain year + the annual fees (thousands?) + hire your own programmers to write all your scripts + deal with the rules & problems with the registry yourself.
