For each .DE Domain you must indicate at least 2 max. 5 nameservers, in order to ensure a registration or the accessibility. These nameservers must be in numerus different „Class-C“ Networks. Specification of nameservers and the necessary configuration:: In the .DE zone file a new zone is created and the responsibility for it is delegated to the nameservers. In the “.DE” Zones you will only find references to the authoritative nameservers. At least 2 (max. 5) name servers must be indicated, which are connected redundant. Please note that the SOA-Entries must be within the following parameters: (in seconds) refresh [10000 ... 86400] retry [1800 ... 28800] expire [604800 ... 3600000] ttl [180 ... 345600] The Domain Registration requests are reviewed by the DENIC Robot, which checks the following aspects: · are the identified nameservers accessible · are they authoritative? · Are the SOA-Entries correct? · Are the SOA-Entries identical with the other nameservers? If you have considered these aspects then you will be able to register or update a .DE Domain. If not, then the domain is registered temporarily, however not yet connected to the Nameserver.
