Registering .de domains is a horrible thing. I sold 6 to one client and then stopped selling them. I used my own DNS as well as the DNS of several 3rd party DNS providers and they all got rejected for various stupid reasons. It is just not worth the money IMO. The support of the DENIC has a very bad attitude and was not willing to help at all. The are working like - "Go away - leave us alone. It's all your fault and you are stupid!" Support of Tucows was available but in the end also lacked certain things - leaving the reseller alone in the dark. Since then I got an Enom account and will no longer use OpenSRS beginning soon.
