Personally, i'm all for modeling it after how firefox does tabs. Any
developers reading this? If so, how hard would it be to get implemented?
Just my thoughts,

Hi Libre Office development mailing list readers!
I think tabs would be a great idea!
The advantages of tabs are:
- Saving of task bar/list space
- Avoiding of context switching between different windows --> Mor fluid
work flow
The disadvantages:
- One single window is not the best for multi screen situations
But this could be easily fixed by opening of more instances of LibO.
An issue which should be addressed is the implemtation in the whole suite:
It could be like this:
Writer:
Tabs for the different documents
Calc:
Tabs for the different spreadsheets (One Calc document)
Tabs for the different tables (Like the one allready exists)
Impress:
Tabs for the different slideshows
Draw:
Tabs for the different drawings
Base:
Tabs for the different data bases
Math:
Tabs for the different math sheets
And look like this:
Title bar
Menu bar
Icon bar
Tabs for different documents, ...
Tabs for different tables (in Calc)
Conetent
Status bar
