But, as Nelson said, non-free output in many cases is better than no output
at all.  Do you not buy computers because the chipsets are closed-source?
Do you not eat at a restaurant that does not share its recipes with you?  It
would be wonderful if those things were open, but we need to choose our
battles, and if fighting one battle inhibits our ability to fight others
(because we're not blogging, or whatever), then it might not be worth
fighting right now.

The SFC blog would probably be better than tumblr for this, now that I think
about it, though.
