Okay 1.) that seems that after the post from Garret - he wouldn't separate / balkanize or something of that on OpenIndiana.
2.) It was right that Alasdair startet the OpenIndiana project like a breeze that getting more and more respected - it is now the key to hold up the community 3.) It is right that the combination of illumnos / illumian is really thight - so there may be confusion on this (based on the nexenta) - (I personally do not like iLLumian cause there is so much miss-spelling - and there's close to illuminati connection) 4.) It would be possible to switch to another name than OpenIndiana in the "long run" - if it is communicated right ! -> alasdair will talk to you on that (iirc) 5.) svr4 and ips packaging - okay let both exists or whatever change - most of the "NEW" solarisianer will learn it 6.) Linda (for your twins - easier for 8.5 months - and easiness of namefinding - nice shot on this - but I think to take the storm out of this discussion - there should be some name change :-) 7.) What about "ExoSolar / SolExos " there's life out of "solaris" :D / E.T. / Solumnos / Quasaris / YOTos / myThos :-) / ORos / Nexos 8.)
