I'm not really that concerned about the term that's used. Truth be  
told, when we're designing at Messagefirst, we do goal oriented data  
driven design. Every design decision we make is based on a business  
goal, customer/user goal, and/or a piece of research data that focuses  
on their behavior/activity. So, technically we do goal-oriented data  
driven design, not user or activity centered design.
